Lenovo Yoga & BitLocker
Recently while working with a client I found an interesting twist regarding encryption specifically with Lenovo Yoga laptops. I have been aware of BitLocker encryption for years & enjoyed the ability to choose when to use it for sensitive data. The link below describes specifically how the Lenovo Yoga models have a feature which automatically activates this encryption (not something obviously told to you). It also explains how to unlock your drive. As stated before this is specifically tailored to Lenovo Yoga laptops but my suspicion is there are other models out there doing this & it probably will become more common as Microsoft advances security. So the big note here is BitLocker is something to be familiar with & learn more about. I will be posting an expanded post on BitLocker very soon so stay tuned!
